CDX vs. CDC vs. CDX:BLACK

Wondering what the differences between these are? CDX is the most premier tier of Gates sprockets using 6061 hard anodized aluminum or stainless steel (for Pinion sizes) for maximum life and durability. The primary difference for CDC front sprockets is the use of a scalloped CenterTrack Fin design which allows for even better debris clearing action at the expense of some wear resistance due to a different hard anodizing coat. As such, CDC sprockets are not recommended for mid-drive e-bikes like the Priority Current. CDX:BLACK uses the same CenterTrack Fin design with oxide coated chromoly for the wear life of CDX at the expense of some of the all weather conditions durability you get with stainless steel. 

Note: If you change sprocket size, you may have to change belt size. Click here for a helpful resource from Gates to help determine if you need a different belt when modifying the stock gearing on your bicycle.
